A. Roy Gentry
Roy Gentry has been Vice President of the Commercial Aviation – Kollsman business unit since September 2006. In this capacity, he leads the planning, guidance and execution of all Commercial Aviation business activities. The Commercial Aviation – Kollsman business unit specializes in innovative niche technologies that enhance safety and improve operational performance for general aviation and airline aircraft, including Enhanced Flight Vision Systems, Head Up Displays, Auto Schedule Pressurization Systems, Instruments and Air Data solutions.
Prior to this, Mr. Gentry worked in commercial aviation for 30 years including various management positions at Bombardier Aerospace, Canadian Marconi Company, Spar Aerospace and Thales Avionics. He has been involved in product and program management, development and certification of Head Up Displays and Enhanced Vision Systems since 1996 as well as other new technology avionics including CNS/ATM FANS 1 and WAAS GPS.
Mr. Gentry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation technology and Aviation Management from Moody Aviation.
