Kurt Huff

Kurt Huff is responsible for leading the Services and Support Business Unit which is focused on aftermarket solutions in Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), Aircraft Modifications and Upgrades, Supply Chain Management, Depot partnering, innovative aftermarket support solutions; and the repair, overhaul and upgrade of sophisticated avionics and electronics on military aircraft throughout the world.

Before joining Elbit Systems of America® in April of 2009, he was the Vice President of Global Customer Management and Business Development for GE Aviation Systems (formerly Smith’s Aerospace) in Clearwater FL. Prior to this position, Mr. Huff was the Military Account Director for Exostar, the leading provider of secure internet based trading services for major DoD customers.

Mr. Huff is a retired United States Navy Captain and served 26 years in the Navy and held numerous command and staff positions in acquisition, logistics and deployed operations. Mr. Huff is considered a leading expert on Performance Based Logistics, electronic trading exchanges, and Public-Private partnering. He retired from the Navy in October 2001.

His education includes a Bachelor Degree in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy, and three Master’s Degrees in Business Administration, Acquisition, and Financial Management. He is Defense Acquisition Improvement Act (DAWIA) level 3 certified in Logistics, Acquisition, and Financial Management. Mr. Huff is also a Certified Public Contracts Manager and the winner of the Navy’s Procurement Excellence Award.
