Steven A. Roser

Steven A. Roser reports directly to the President and CEO of Elbit Systems of America® and is responsible for all marketing activities for the company. Before joining Elbit Systems of America® in May of 2008, he was the Vice President of Business Development for the Defense and Aerospace Systems Division of Sanmina-SCI located in Huntsville, Alabama. Prior to this position, Mr. Roser was the Pratt & Whitney St. Louis Regional Manager supporting The Boeing Company and the Air Mobility Command.

Mr. Roser is a retired United States Air Force Brigadier General. He served 29 years in the Air Force and held numerous command and staff positions. He is a command pilot with over 4,000 hours of flying time in both rotary and fixed wing aircraft. He commanded Bolling AFB, Charleston AFB, and Travis AFB. He retired from the USAF in October 1999.

Mr. Roser has earned numerous awards. In 1999 he and his wife were selected for the O’Malley Award as the best commander couple in the Air Force. Mr. Roser was inducted into the Order of the Sword in 2000.

His education includes a Bachelor Degree in Political Science, and three Masters Degrees in International Relations, National Security and an MBA. He graduated from advanced programs at Carnegie Mellon University and Harvard. He is also a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College and the National War College.
