6 x 8 Color Active Matrix

The 6" x 8" AMLCD functions as a primary flight display offering high brightness and contrast, excellent resolution, readability and clarity required in an open cockpit. Its outstanding characteristics include 7:1 contrast ratio in full sunlight with brightness greater than 230 fL. An extremely wide dimming range assures steady illumination up to as low as 0.1 fL. The display is fully compatible to NVG Class A/Class B for night mode operation. The interfaces with the computer are via analog video and RS-422 serial communication channel. The display is available in both landscape and portrait configurations.
