ANVIS/HUD®-Tracker
The new ANVIS/HUD® system offers an optional head-tracking capability that enhances crew coordination and improves the pilot’s targeting and cueing capabilities. Based on unique electro-magnetic, head-tracking algorithms, ANVIS/HUD®-Tracker slaves the helicopter’s systems to the pilots’ line of sight (LOS) while displaying electro-optic payload, weapon systems, and the copilot’s LOS symbols. The tracker may be seamlessly installed on operational systems by adding an extra card to the ESDC slot and installing the magnetic unit onto a standard helmet.

Benefits:
- Improves crew coordination by displaying the pilot’s and copilot's LOS
- Reduces intercom traffic by allowing head-movement communications between the pilots
- Facilitates targeting by continuously displaying the estimated impact point of the selected weapon
- Improves mission efficiency by slaving the helicopter’s systems to the pilot’s LOS
- Enhances helicopter self-protection by slaving the armament to the pilot’s LOS enabling rapid weapons firing
- Improves situational awareness by superimposing mission symbology such as waypoints, landing points, targets, and rescue points on the outer world view
