KAPS® II

The Kollsman Autoschedule Cabin Pressurization Control System (KAPS®) combines more than thirty years of cabin pressure experience with modern, solid-state technology. Designed to minimize cost, weight, and panel space, the KAPS® CPCS meets the needs of today’s advanced aircraft performance requirements.

The KAPS® autoschedule controller simplifies management of the aircraft pressurization system and significantly reduces pilot workload. On the ground, the controller keeps the aircraft safely depressurized. After takeoff, the cabin altitude is automatically scheduled to minimize the pressure changes experienced by passengers and crew for maximum comfort.

Status

KAPS® II is certified on multiple aircraft types and is available for installation and certification on fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.
