The MUlti Spectral Infrared Countermeasure (MUSIC) system - is a high performance, laser based directed infrared countermeasure (DIRCM) protection system for aircraft and helicopters against ground to air missiles (MANPADS.) MUSIC can handle multiple threats fired from any direction. The unit integrates fiber laser technology and a high frame rate thermal camera with a small, highly dynamic turret to provide effective, reliable and affordable protection under all operational conditions and is adaptable to threat evolution.
