Conventional CBRN protection systems include a common CBRN filter per platform with three protection modes: overpressure protection, collective face mask protection, and hybrid protection.

LOAD CONTROL DISTRIBUTION BOX FOR POWER

The Load Control Distribution Box (LCDB) provides intelligent power management capabilities for 28-volt DC vehicle power distribution systems. Each system has up to seven individually controlled channels that may be energized or de-energized using a relay. Each channel has the capability to detect and report malfunctions such as:

HANDHELD RUGGEDIZED PERSONAL DATA ASSISTANT

Based on the Marvell 520 MHz PXA-270 processor, the Ruggedized Personal Data Assistant-57 (RPDA-57) responds to the call for situational awareness applications. The generous 128 MB RAM and 64 or 128 MB flash memory provide ample room to run and house many applications in non-volatile memory providing protection against data loss due to battery drainage. Available in both wireless and non-wireless configurations.

The Tacter-31D is the next generation of the Tacter family of military computers. The tactical computer tablet has a high performance 10.4” sun-readable display with LED backlight, smart power management algorithm and a Smart Li-lon battery for long stand-alone operation times. The slim and powerful vehicle tablet computer can also detach quickly detached for dismount operations. The Tacter 31-D is equipped with a secondary battery for uninterrupted operation during a main battery hot-swap and an optional military or commercial embedded GPS.

The Tacter-31M Rugged Handheld Computer (RHC) is a multi-purpose mobile computer with an Intel Pentium M 1.8 GHz CPU designed to serve all combat soldiers. On the modern battlefield, the Tacter-31M’s embedded communications utilize today’s protocols, making the terminal critical for any C4I system. The Tacter-31M supports simultaneous connectivity to two independent tactical radio networks, LANs, and other networks. It also features an internal dual-channel TACLINK 3000 tactical modem, L-Band SATCOM, and optional GPS-receiver, offering warfighters essential navigation and mapping capabilities.

The Tacter-31M is available with Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Linux and features an optional 30 or 80GB removable HDD. This customer-driven design provides unique versatility as a vehicle-mounted solution or for dismounted use. This is why the Tacter-31 Rugged Computer has become the system of choice for the US Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy.

The Primary Direct Fire Control System (PDFCS) for medium and large caliber (30mm - 120mm) cannon turret applications is a ballistic computer that ensures a high first-round hit probability for stationary and “fire on the move” target engagements. The PDFCS provides correct cannon elevation and azimuth angles based upon ballistics, target range, and inputs from various sensors.

REMOTE WEAPON STATION - MEDIUM (7.62 MM)

Elbit Systems of America’s leading-edge Remote Weapon Station - Medium (RWS-M) offers unparalleled performance under battlefield conditions. Based on in-house electro-optics, the company’s range of weapon stations are field-proven and incorporate over 30 years of development in stabilization systems. Dual-axis and fully stabilized, the weapon station provides a high first round hit probability while shielding the operator from danger.
The RWS-M is designed to meet a number of demanding and diverse requirements. The various weapon stations can be mounted on a wide range of armored fighting and support vehicles. The suite of RWS products cover a wide variety of weapons types. This range covers 5.56mm, 7.62mm and 12.7mm caliber weapons, and includes the 40mm grenade launcher.

Additional options include a laser rangefinder, smoke grenade launchers as well as day and night cameras.

Elbit Systems of America’s unique 25-30mm Remote Weapon System - Heavy (RWS-H) provides armored vehicles with the combat capabilities of a turreted vehicle: option for mounting either a 25 or 30mm gun, anti-tank missiles and/or smoke grenade launchers. The RWS-H mounts entirely on the exterior of the vehicle with no roof penetration preserving the internal vehicle configuration.
