For military personnel, field agents, and first responders, reliable and secure communication is essential. Communication solutions must be rapidly deployable and utilize existing infrastructure wherever possible regardless of the environmental conditions. The ability to communicate instantly with large groups, combined with ease of deployment makes Push-to-Talk (PTT) the technology of choice. Yet, with the convenience, also comes the threat of exposing sensitive and valuable information and eavesdropping and theft. In addition, standard PTT terminals cannot withstand the extreme conditions typical of rescue and tactical operations. To fill the gap, Elbit Systems of America® has developed SnaPTT.
