AN/PAS-22

Emerald-LRTI is a high-performance, handheld, thermal sight. Using a cooled, highly-sensitive InSb focal plane array, this camera is designed to give the maximum range performance for a 6.8 lb. hand-held package. Two fields of view allow the user to scan in a wide field of view for good situational awareness and to switch to a narrow field of view for target identification. Optional built-in magnetic fluxgate compass and GPS allow the user to share target location information. A laser pointer may be added to form an integrated targeting system.
