The MK-V Thermal Beacon provides foot-mobile, ground forces an effective, handheld, fully ruggedized means of self identification to friendly forces using MWIR, LWIR and/or NIR systems. It is suited to a number of applications including passage of lines, near-far signaling, and guidance of vehicles and aircraft.
