AN/PAS-25
THERMAL LASER SPOT IMAGER

AN/PAS-25  THERMAL LASER SPOT IMAGER

The AN/PAS-25 is a high-performance, hand-held, thermal sight with laser spot tracking capability. Using a cooled, highly-sensitive InSb Focal Plane Array, this camera is designed to give the maximum range performance for a 7.5lb hand-held package. In addition, the TLSI is capable of seeing a laser targeting or range-finding “spot” to assist in target identification. Two fields of view allow the user to scan in a wide field-of-view thus maintaining good situational awareness, and then switch to a narrow field-of-view for target identification.

CLDR
COMMON LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGNATOR/RANGEFINDER

CLDR  COMMON LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGNATOR/RANGEFINDER

Elbit Systems of America’s Common Lightweight Designator/Rangefinder (CLDR) is an essential part in AC-130 gunship modernization, fixed and rotary wing targeting pods and gimbals, and the AH-1Z Hawkeye Fire Control System. A cutting edge diode pumped laser transmitter core allows the system to have high power, low divergence, and high reliability. This permits the laser to output three different wavelengths – each suited for their own applications – designation, eye-safe range finding, and alignment. The CLDR is equipped with a solid core that increases the capability and reliability of new fire control systems. The CLDR is also NATO PRF/PIM code capable.
